Visual story telling.

In my earlier days of journeying through  photography , I would shoot everything and anything and everywhere, it didnt mattered to me whether the shots are sharp,  in focus or not  or the right exposure .Armed with a  Canon Powershot and 10X zooms , the world of apertures, shutter speed and ISO was blind to me . The shots were erratic , lost and one couldn't tell whether those shots were pranks or actual shot .

I would go everywhere with my camera, taking photographs in everywhere and had no inkling idea why sometimes white balance is out and weird colours start to populate across my photo frame.

Then I started to hang out with a bunch of other photographers who would love to go out and shoot together. It was there I learned about the art of composition . A close friend of mine , Mee lin started shooting amazing photos with her canon ixus and even scored many photo deals .

Through her photos , she showed me how photos can tell their own stories .

The intricate combination of light, the moments and exposure can tell a very different story about your subject..

Here below are some of the portraiture I have shot over the years. Hope that the photos give you revelation and inspire you the way how mee lin's photos inspired me.

Perspectives

Our willingness to acknowledge that we only see half the picture creates the conditions that make us more attractive to others. The more sincerely we acknowledge our need for their different insights and perspectives, the more they will be magnetized to join us.

Margaret J. Wheatley

I've thought it is apt to remember photography is all about perspective and it is reflective of our perspectives of what life is all about . This is gonna be my first photoblog which I have hoped that my perspectives can be published and hope my thought that came with these photos are able be communicated in visual rather than literal.
